Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. It was a warm breezy Saturday morning when the splashing begun as the "Learn to Swim for Others" swimming lesson kicked off last April 12, 1997 with Ms. Yolly Manliquez (PNRC Governor) and our very own Atty. Celso Talaba giving the welcoming address and opening remarks respectively.

A total of 22 participants enlisted on the 1st day and the number soared to 32 in the next two weeks of the session (thirteen were Blessed Children).

The Closing Ceremony was graced by Mrs. Eva de Leon - WFWP President, Col. and Mrs. Jaime Canatoy, Mr. Rudolpho Genato - Red Cross National Swimming Instructor and the special presence of our Continental Director, Mrs. Chung Hae Kim.

This project was sponsored by Youth Federation for World Peace under the auspices of Col. Jaime Canatoy and the HSA-UWC Sunday School supported by the Philippine Blessed Families and co-sponsored by Women's Federation for World Peace and the Philippine National Red Cross.

The graduation rites were held last May 17, 1997 at Camp Aguinaldo's swimming pool. With a total of 27 graduates, everyone was very happy to receive their diplomas and medals for special awards as well as a graduation gift.
