Dear Educator/Leader,

Greetings and Godīs Blessing to you and your mission!

As a result of Hyun Jin Nimīs recent workshops in Kodiak, Alaska, there has been a groundswell of requests for more information about the educational material that was shared in that workshop and how this integrates into our educational efforts in general. To accommodate these requests, the Education Division of WORLD CARP is putting together a weekend national-level workshop for educators, entitled "Transformation Towards a Culture of Heart".

This workshop will take place in Barrytown, New York at the Unification Theological Seminary on November 2nd and 3rd. All second generation educators including Sunday School Teachers, public and/or private school teachers and administrators, and second generation youth ministers, those involved in higher education, as well as those involved in the creation of educational materials of any kind are invited to participate.

Attendees should plan to arrive no later than Friday evening November 1st so as to attend the opening orientation scheduled for 7:30pm. The program will finish on Sunday by 1:00pm.

More information will be e-mailed and mailed out in the coming weeks regarding program contents and how to register. In the meantime, we recommend that you book your flight so as to lock-in an inexpensive fare. Each person is responsible for his or her own travel arrangements to and from the airport, however, we will offer a shuttle service from the Rhinecliff, NY Amtrak train station which connects to either New York City or Albany.

If you have any questions concerning this program, please contact either Mr. In Soo Kim at the Second Generation office in New York (onestep@familyfed.org), or you may contact Rev. Brian Sabourin (briansab@aol.com) who is serving as the conference coordinator or myself (devinet@snet.net). Keep in mind that more information will be coming next week as well as in the weeks ahead.

We look forward to seeing you in Barrytown!

ITN,
Tony Devine
Vice President of World CARP Education Division
On behalf of the Conference Committee
